The Lockton Charitable Association provides us with more flexibility, in that we can donate to more than one charitable cause in addition to our chosen charity partner for the year. For example, to provide relief for a natural disaster, or a personal circumstance in an associate's family for which people want to raise funds.
In addition to this, it is an opportunity to create more of a legacy in our giving, perhaps taking on a specific issue over a longer period and with multiple and simultaneous approaches. To continue our excellent fundraising, we have introduced tax efficient Payroll Giving for Lockton associates specific to The Lockton Charitable Association.

BE PART OF IT
There are many ways for you to get involved from raising money at cake sales to sporting events, raffles or running a marathon, any amount raised big or small helps us donate to a worthy cause.
Many of our associates take part in one off events and volunteers have organised a 180 person bike ride from Cambridge to London for the 3rd year running.
The Lockton Gets in Gear challenge event takes months of planning and raises a huge amount of sponsorship, involving associates, business contacts and family members and is open to anyone that wants to take part whether a keen cyclist or weekend with the family hobbyist.
Whilst December is usually a busy month for our charity events such as raffles, Christmas jumper day and breakfasts, and a newly formed Lockton Choir, the summer brings outdoor opportunities for fairs, fun runs and marathons.
Usually the chosen charity partners for the year can provide spaces on some of the larger events for those of us wanting to fulfil a lifetime challenge or if a mountain ultra trail across the Alps (yes someone did actually do that) isn't for you then do something different instead, big or small every penny counts.
In addition any one of our Associates can raise money for a cause close to their heart and we have also provided relief funds for major disasters such Hurricane Harvey which devastated a local community in Houston Texas.
Many of our Associates were affected and the funds we were able to raise through the Lockton Charitable Association helped enormously with the relief effort helping people get back into their homes or provide alternative accommodation.
So whatever you do and however you do it get involved and be part of a fantastic and worthy fund raising effort.
