The Lockton Real Estate & Construction team hosted their annual charity dodgeball tournament on Thursday 13th June in aid of the Lockton Charitable Association. Lockton maintains an active programme of charity events, proceeds from which support a Charity of the Year, currently Children with Cancer UK, and to support smaller registered charities and charitable projects to help improve the lives of people within our community. With thanks to the insurers who took part, over £3,000 was raised for the charity.
Hosted at Powerleague Shoreditch, 14 teams took part in the tournament kitted out in various fancy dress costumes, including emojis, pacman, and queens. Each team showed off their diving, ducking and dodging skills in the hope to be crowned dodgeball champions.
The winning team of the tournament were Axa and Chubb walked away with the 'Best Dressed Team' for dressing as Anonymous Hackers.
Ross Fentiman, Senior Vice President of Lockton Real Estate & Construction, said “I would like to thank all the insurers who took part in our charity dodgeball tournament. Everyone really made an effort with their fancy dress costumes this year, which added to the excellent atmosphere on the night!
The money raised will make a huge difference to Children with Cancer UK. We hope to see everyone back again next year to take on the champions, AXA.”
Congratulations to our winners of the night and thank you again for taking part and supporting our charity event.
